Bringing home a new puppy can be an extremely exciting but also sometimes daunting experience for all. Our puppy school is suitable for both first-time owners and experienced owners alike!
The first few weeks of a puppy’s life is an important developmental period. It is a great time for your puppy to get to know other dogs and other people, and be exposed to different experiences in a positive manner.
During our five week course, Dr Kerrie Piper will discuss how to manage common puppy behaviours such as chewing, digging and toilet training etc., and discuss common health matters as well. Your puppy will also learn how to sit, drop, stand, stay and come. Trick requests are also welcome and we do our best to tailor tasks to suit each puppy and family.

Our puppy school was first established by our very own veterinarian Dr Kerrie Piper in 2005.
Since then, Kerrie has run countless puppy classes.
Kerrie has an extensive background in canine obedience training with over 20 years experience, and has a special interest and obtained further qualifications in veterinary behavioural medicine.
Our classes have a class size limit to ensure that Kerrie can spend quality time with you and your pup, and to make sure that you both have a great experience.

Our puppy school is designed for puppies between the age of 8-14 weeks.
All puppies will need to have had their first puppy vaccination. A valid vaccination certificate will be required for attendance.

Our puppy school takes place at our Trafalgar Clinic.
Each class runs for a duration of one hour over five weeks.
Classes are typically run on Tuesday evenings. Specific start times can vary depending on the class.
